Terms, Policies & Client Responsibilities

1. Agreement

By submitting payment, booking a project, or approving a concept, the client agrees to all policies listed on this page.
This agreement is binding and applies to all projects created by Lyric Haus Studios, a DBA of Lyric Haus Media Group LLC.

2. Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit is required to begin all projects.

  1. No work begins until the deposit is paid.

  2. Remaining balances must be paid before delivery of final files.

  3. All payments are processed securely through PayPal.

  4. Split payments or payment plans must be approved before project start.

  5. Nonpayment or delayed payment results in automatic project pause.

3. Turnaround Time & Expectations

Turnaround varies by project type.

  • Estimated turnaround is provided at booking.

  • Client delays (slow responses, unclear notes, missing information) extend the delivery date with no penalty to the studio.

  • Rush delivery is available for an additional fee.

  • Turnaround begins after deposit is paid and project details are confirmed.

4. Revision Policy

Revisions include minor adjustments only:

  • Tone

  • Timing

  • Emphasis

  • Slight wording adjustments

  • Minor mix notes

Major revisions are NOT included, such as:

  • New verses

  • New hooks

  • Entire concept changes

  • Beat changes

  • Rewriting more than 20% of lyrics

Major revisions are billed as new work.
Unused revisions do not roll over to new projects.

5. Creative Control

Lyric Haus Studios maintains full creative direction over:

  • Vocal production style

  • Arrangement decisions

  • Mixing and mastering choices

  • Artistic decisions necessary to maintain brand quality

Client suggestions are welcome, but creative control ensures:

  • Professional quality

  • Cohesive final production

  • Protection of the Lyric Haus Studios artistic brand

We will not use ideas that violate copyright, morality, or safety standards.

6. Ownership & Usage Rights

All songs, vocals, lyrics, mixes, and productions are protected intellectual property.

Personal Use Includes:

  • Share with family/friends

  • TikTok, IG, or YouTube (non-monetized)

  • Private events

Commercial Use Includes:

  • Monetized videos

  • Streaming platforms

  • Business use

  • Ads, promotions

  • Public distribution

  • Uploading to DSPs

Commercial use may require:

  • Licensing

  • Publishing & crediting

  • Additional fees depending on usage

Clients may not claim full ownership unless a buyout contract is purchased.

Unauthorized resale, duplication, or redistribution is prohibited.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide clear details upfront

  • Respond promptly to messages

  • Supply accurate information

  • Approve drafts in a timely manner

  • Provide revisions within the allowed revision window

  • Respect the creative process

Client delays automatically extend turnaround time.

8. Final Delivery

Final project files are delivered ONLY after full payment is received.

Delivery may include:

  • MP3

  • WAV

  • Stems (if purchased)

  • Lyric sheet

  • Visuals (if purchased)

Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up files.
Lyric Haus Studios is not responsible for lost files after delivery.

9. Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable, including:

  • Deposits

  • Balances

  • Add-ons

  • Rush fees

  • Revisions

  • Mixing/mastering

Refunds are NOT provided for:

  • Change of mind

  • Client-side delays

  • “Not what I imagined”

  • Aesthetic differences

  • Not liking the creative direction

  • Outside platform issues (YouTube, TikTok, DistroKid, etc.)

  • Personal emergencies

Once work begins, the payment is considered earned work.

10. Cancellation Policy

Client cancellations — at any stage — do NOT qualify for a refund.

If the studio must cancel due to emergency, client will receive:

  • A rescheduled delivery date OR

  • A project credit

No cash refunds under any circumstances.

11. Intellectual Property & Copyright

All creative work remains the property of Lyric Haus Studios unless:

  • A written agreement grants specific rights

  • A licensing or buyout contract is signed

  • Publishing splits are assigned and registered correctly

Unauthorized:

  • Copying

  • Reselling

  • Uploading without permission

  • Sharing raw files

  • Removing credit

…will result in legal action.

12. Legal & Safety

Lyric Haus Studios reserves the right to end or decline a project if it involves:

  • Hate speech

  • Bullying or harassment

  • Threats or violence

  • Defamation

  • Dangerous content

  • Copyright infringement

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Unprofessional or abusive communication

All transactions and communication must remain respectful and lawful.

By making any payment, the client acknowledges and accepts ALL terms listed on this page.
